Iran’s dream come true…

May 4, 2009

Yes, a world without Israel.  Haaretz ran an interesting piece, that no pun intended, flew below the radar:

Army Radio reported earlier that BMI’s London-Tel Aviv flights, Israel and most of its cities weren’t marked in order to avoid angering Muslim passengers. Only Haifa was identified – by its Arab name, Khefa.

In its apology, BMI said the plane bearing the map was acquired from a now-defunct airline that flew to several Arab countries in the Middle East, and the map highlighted locations including the Muslim holy city of Mecca.

It is bad enough that there are legions in the Middle East, and across the globe that want Israel to be destroyed, but this is shocking from a European Airline – that flies to Israel! I can understand some of the catering to Muslim passengers; Jews  and Muslims alike need to know the direction to face for prayer… but erasing Israel, and its major cities, off the map is a step too far.

Editor’s note: Apologies for the delay in posts… my internet has been unreliable recently.
